About the Final Master

Now in High Definition (24/96)

Because of the popularity of the FLAC* data compression system, I've decided to record in the higher data rate of 24 bit by 96k sps. FLAC does recreate the improvements realized from the higher bit rate. Because of this, the CD is now technically outmoded.

So, from now on, the final stereo master will be a FLAC file. Also, because the US Postal Services has been inconsistent with their delivery times in the last few years, I will now send the final master via DropBox. You will receive a DropBox Email that will have a link to click on that will download the final master to your computer.

The difference with DDR is Quality

Specialized in recording recitals for choirs, orchestras, and small groups with exceptional sound quality. DDR will record your live concert using top quality equipment. The Concert Recording Package includes the recording of the live concert and all post production (removing long pauses and fading the applause). Also, any improvements that can be made to the recording, such as control of the dynamic range, adding echo and use of equalizers, etc. All that is necessary to make the final stereo master.

*Flac is a lossless compression system, meaning
there is no difference from it and the original uncompressed master and it does this with less
than half the amount of data to be stored.
The FLAC system is free to the public on the internet.
It stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec.
